A disappointing season that nonetheless contained heroics. The Ramsey game was a thriller and Fair Lawn now leads the 1945-58, 1984-99 and 2002-present rivalry by an astounding 28 games to 6 (.824)! The State “Consolation Game” found our CUTTERS playing Garfield again and their 47-7 win brought the 1971-75 and 2005 rivalry to 6-0 (1.000) Fair Lawn! And, even with the heart stopping Bergenfield loss on Thanksgiving, our CUTTERS lead the 1945-48 and 1962- present rivalry 33-15 (.688) and the 1994–present Turkey Day rivalry 9-3 (.750).

All-Northern Bergen Interscholastic League (NBIL) Division 1 1st Team Offense honors were given to Vinnie Graff (QB) and Mike Keating (WR). 1st Team Defensive honors went to Scott Leathem (DB). Tim Schofield (G) and Tom Spear (WR) made 2nd Team offense and Josh Aviles (LB), John Macko (DL) and Randy Platter (K) made 2nd Team Defense. Honorable mention was given Sean Hughes (DL) and Stephan Macchiorola (FS/WR). Graff was named “Outstanding Senior” on the team.
